| Advertisement for the post of Laboratory Assistant / Junior Laboratory Assistant |
Applications are invited for post of Laboratory Assistant (for One post) at a fixed salary of Rs.25,000/- per month and Junior Laboratory Assistant (for One post) at a fixed salary of Rs.12,500 per month in the Technical Consultancy Services - ICPMS & MWD in the Geo-Environmental Research Laboratory, PI: Dr. Debabrata Das, Department of Geology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Essential qualifications for Laboratory Assistant: Candidates should possess master’s degree in sciences from a recognized University. Essential qualifications for Junior Laboratory Assistant: Candidates should possess bachelor’s degree in sciences from a recognized University. Work experience: Preference will be given to candidates having prior experience in area of geochemical analysis and instrumental handling ICP-MS and MWD Analysis, acid digestion techniques, and associated laboratory works. Duration: Initially for 09 Months and it can be extended up to Three years, depending on the availability of funds. Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of this advertisement. The upper age limits 33 Years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates.
